Drayton Village Pre-School currently employs 7 members of staff and are lead by a Qualified Early Years Teacher.
At each session there is a 1 supervisor and a minimum of 2 assistants, depending on the number of children on roll. There is a maximum of 26 children per session and the adult to child ratio is 1:8 for 3+ children and 1:4 for under 3s.
Upon entry, each child is assigned to a key worker who oversees their learning, maintains their learning journey books and feeds back interest and next steps to inform planning.
The majority of our assistants have an NVQ 3 in a childcare related qualification as well First Aid training.
