ADMISSIONS POLICY
The Preschool is open to every family in the community. Children must be a minimum of 2 years 3 months.
Children can join the preschool at any time between the ages of 2 years and three months until they are old enough to start school...
Our preschool is an inclusive setting which supports all children. We have a designated member of staff who is a special needs coordinator (SENCO) and staff are trained to help children with a wide range of disabilities to participate and enjoy preschool activities to their full potential.

CHARGING POLICY
This policy outlines our charging procedures from the 9th of September 2013. Please make yourself aware of the policies set in place as they are arranged to secure the financial viability of the pre-school in order to continue to provide quality care to all of our children.
Funding
Children are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 3rd birthday. If you are unsure if your child is eligible, please speak to a member of staff who can inform you of the cut off dates as well as give you the necessary paperwork. If you decide to split your funding between us and more than one provider, please let us know so that we can complete paperwork accordingly and liaise with the other provider for funding information and consistency of care. Parents of children receiving 3-4 year old funding will not be charged any fees unless their children’s hours exceed 15 hours. At present we are unable to accept funded 2 year olds, but this is subject to change. We will inform parents when we are able to accept this funding. You may use your funded hours in any combination you see fit, provided there is availability in session.
Fees
Parents of children who are not yet eligible for funding will be invoiced for their childcare on a half termly basis. We aim to give these invoices out a half term in advance to support the on-going costs that a pre-school incurs. Our fees are as follows:
£2.40 an hour/ booked in three hour session blocks at a cost of £8.40.
Lunch club: £1.50 (pack lunch to be provided by carers, milk and water provided at no additional cost)
Please be aware that you will be charged for your child’s sessions regardless of attendance as costs to the school remain the same.
Late fees
Drayton Village Pre-school recognises that at times parents may have difficulty in making payments. If you are concerned about fees, please speak to the Supervisor immediately and we will aim to create a payment plan for you. We may need to charge an administration charge in order to cover additional costs incurred.
If you are unable to pick your child up on time, please inform the setting as soon as possible. A late pick of charge of £2.80 will be applied or a charge for the next session, whichever is more applicable.
Setting closure
At times when the setting is closed, fees may be charged subject to the terms of closure.
Bank holidays/1st Friday of the Month- No charge
Staff development days- No charge
Inclement weather – charges will remain as normal as our costs remain the same.
We aim to keep the setting open during session times whenever possible unless opening would present a danger to staff/children or we are unable to maintain our staff ratios.
